Ansmann 1600-0272 Mini Keychain LED Torch WITH Batteries

This is a quality product.  It feels as if some attention has been paid to its construction above and beyond.  It comes very neatly packaged with the 4x LR41 alkaline cells it needs to work.  These are in plentiful supply on places like eBay.  To install the batteries you have to unscrew the cap which is located where the keyring chain attaches.  It is a little fiddly dropping the batteries in one after the other but not too awkward.  The on / off button is found on the body. The light only emits when you press the button down, obviously, but the switch needs to be pressed down at all times else it will spring back off.  These torches always surprise me as to the amount of light they emit and this torch is no exception.  I don't mean it shines so strongly you can see for miles or that you can use it to go walking through lanes in the dead of night, etc, but to use it to locate something the light is more than sufficient.  Drop something on the floor and this little keyring torch will come to your aid.  It weighs just 14.5g so shouldn't prove to be much of a burden if added to your car keys for instance.  The keychain is again, well-made and appears to be durable.  To back all this up there is a 2-year warranty.  A neat little keyring torch

2 Torch Mix - Military Grade T6 LED Torch (AAA) PLUS (AA) Torch Plus Batteries

These torches really take some beating.  They are made from aluminium and appear to be indestructible for one thing.  The light they emit reaches for goodness knows how far and to top it all off they run on 3 AAA batteries if you don't want to go down the rechargeable battery route, but, of course, they can be should you so wish, being sold with a sleeve for the very purpose.  The zoom is very effective concentrating the light into a box shape but spreading to all around when the zoom is dispensed with.  The torch is not overly large and fits in the hand nicely.  It will not overburden you with its weight either and be carried in a handbag for that matter.  Its main appeal though will be its robustness allied to its outstanding performance making them suitable for all sorts of activities.  They are sold with a silicon wrap that enables them to be attached to a bicycle so cyclists will certainly appreciate them, but others, such as fishermen, walkers, ramblers and a whole host of others will too.  An outstanding torch.

Small Aluminium LED Torch with Zoom, Side Light & Strobe

I really like these torches.  I like the simplicity for starters.  Just the one battery and off you go.  A lot less of everything to go wrong.  AA batteries are cheap enough to acquire and they last a long time anyway.  I also like the small, the compact size of these torches.  Keep one on you most times as they don't take up much room.  The amount of light they emit is considerable.  The zoom really sets the torch off as you can focus all the light onto one small are or zoom out to light up a complete room.  The side light is extremely powerful and can be used to illuminate the inside of tents and so on - or to provide light to read by.  Everyone who has bought one of these seems happy with their purchase and some have returned to purchase another - or more.  Hopefully the lastability of these torches will be considerable.  They certainly feel like they will last being made from aluminium.  A fine torch for the money - and very little money at that.

Telescopic Flexible Neck Powerful Magnet 3 LED Torch WITH FREE Batteries (8)

There is a fair weight to this torch.  It is 17 CMS long and 2 CMS thick at the lamp end.  Took me a while to work out where the batteries should go.  You unscrew a cap where the lamp is rather than the other end as I was doing at first.  The torch takes very small LR44 batteries - 4 of them!  Easy enough to slot them in.  I shall be supplying the torch with 8 batteries in all, 4 installed and 4 as spare.  They are very cheap to acquire from eBay.  I bought them in bulk, so I can afford 8 batteries with each torch.  I prefer to sell torches in this manner, in that I try them out beforehand. The torch can be extended to a max of 53 CMS, which is quite a length.  The action is pretty stiff, but then again, these are new torches.  The flexible part of the stem is right near the head of the torch, where the led lamp resides.  The magnet sits flush with the end of the torch and can easily pick up a set of keys and the like.  Bolts and screws wouldn't be any bother, probably spanners could be picked up too I should think, within reason.  The number of times I could have done with a tool of this sort when working on my own car a number of years ago.  It would have come in dead handy.

Pen Light Mini Quality Branded LED 3 Mode Flashlight WITH FREE Battery

Shustar make great products, quality products.  They are not the cheapest, but then again, why should they be?  I would happily pay a little more for something and receive something of worth.  Cutting corners in this regard can be wasteful rather than money saving in some instances.  I thought all torches of the same design were made the same, but I was wrong there.  Everything about these Shustar torches is improved over the others I sell.  The threads are noticeably smoother for one, they feel more substantial for another (thicker metal maybe?).  This particular torch comes with a ring for attaching to your belt which is handy.  The torch also has 3 modes of lighting - strobe, low beam and high beam.  As with all the rest of the torches you cycle through these modes by pressing lightly on the on / off switch.  Just the one AA battery is all that is needed to provide a lot of light.  A very nice looking torch and one that feels good in the hand.  Top marks.

LED Waterproof Aluminium Torch Flashlight With FREE AA Battery

I quite like these torches.  They are easier to switch on for one thing, compared to the other, smaller type of penlights I am currently selling.  If you have big hands and fingers these would be a much better fit.  Made of aluminium again so they are very strong and I should think will prove durable.  They take just the one AA battery.  There is a ring attachment, the cord of which is supposed to be threaded through a hole by the switch itself.  This isn't very apparent.  I should probably add some further info about this.  It is a no nonsense torch, in that there is just the on-off switch and nothing else, no other frills. All in all a torch that bangs out a a decent amount of light for very little money.

Pen Light Mini Portable LED Flashlight 1000 lumens 1 Switch Mode led flashlight

These penlights are very small yet deliver quite a punch.  Simple on / off with no frills.  Excellent inspection lights for workers - doctors - dentists and the like, anyone who needs a compact light now and then.  Robustly made from aluminium.  1 AAA battery is all it needs.  Place it in your shirt pocket or any other pocket for that matter and be hardly aware of its existence.  Very cheap and should last for a long time.

Mini Flashlight ZOOM Led Torch Penlight Night Camping Car WITH FREE AAA Battery

Another very well-made mini torch, or penlight then as it is so small.  Certainly packed a few features into this little torch (it is a torch as well!).  It has 3 modes which are: low, high and strobe, backed up by a zoom ability that works as many others do by the front sliding back and forth.  Again, these torches really surprise me with the amount of light they dish out.  You can easily light up your path so it can cover a wide range of uses.  Quality is high.  This is branded product so the quality is no-doubt kept high because of this.  The last thing a brand wants to do is get a bad name in this regard, especially with all the competition out there in China land.  My only reservation is the size of the thing with the switch being so small and slightly recessed.  I have no trouble switching it on and off but someone with bigger fingers would struggle, but then again, would such a person want this type of torch in the first place?  It is a bit doubtful.  For smaller hands they are not so difficult to turn on and off.  I like it.  It is the only small torch I have now - an AAA battery driven mini penlight - that has Zoom.  It stands out for this very reason alone.

Mini Flashlight Pocket Penlight Tactical Torch Stainless Steel FREE Battery

A stainless steel mini torch come penlight.  Certainly feels well-made.  I do have some reservations about cross-threading though when screwing on the cap.  A little grease would help with this matter I think.  I shall see what is the best sort to get.  A tiny dab should help matters.  Apart from this the torch works really well.  I really like the fact that the button is pronounced this time and not recessed.  This makes it much easier to switch on and off.  The light is very strong - 5W.  Remarkable power from such a small torch.  In the blurb they reckon it can shine for up to 100 metres.  I can well believe it.  With such power must mean the battery runs down quite quickly, but the way I use a torch that means it will last for quite a long time regardless.  Such small lights are more like emergency lights rather than the type of torch you use on a continuous basis.  A worthy new member of our torch club.  It isn't perfect but it is pretty good.
